The Chamber SWLA commissioned a new coffee table book highlighting the history of our region penned by local historian Adley Cormier. This contemporary exploration of the fascinating general history of this unique corner of Louisiana focuses on the shared heritage of the people of the prairies, marshes and woodlands of the great Southwest corner of Louisiana, and the challenges and triumphs of its business and society. Copies of the book are currently available at the offices of The SWLA Alliance located on the 3rd floor of the SEED Center (4310 Ryan Street in Lake Charles). Books are $50 which includes taxes. Call (337) 433-3632 for more information.
