Crying Eagle Brewing Company Turns Two

LAKE CHARLES, La.–Crying Eagle Brewing announced today that they will be having their second annual birthday bash to celebrate the July of 2016 launch of their brewery.

About Crying Eagle Brewing Company

Opened in 2016 in Lake Charles, Crying Eagle Brewing has launched several popular craft beers, four of which—Ready to Mingle, Louisiana Lager, Pistol Bridge Porter, and Hop Blooded IPA—are available in select locations in Lake Charles, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Alexandria, Ruston, Monroe, Houma, Thibodaux, as well as Beaumont Texas. Brewed in Calcasieu Parish, Crying Eagle takes its name from the word “Calcasieu,” which roughly translates to “crying eagle.” That was the name of the legendary local Atakapa Indian chief who charged into battle with a fearsome cry. Crying Eagle Brewing Company has set the standard for craft brewing in Southwest Louisiana, and its Lake Charles taproom offers limited-release beers, local events and tours. Flamethrowers have been melting faces all across the Gulf Coast since 2005. These kids, all seasoned veterans of the cover band circuit, know exactly how to kick out the jams, playing the greatest Rock N’ Roll party songs from the 50s to today through amplifiers that go all the way up to eleven.
